Beginning in 1969 with jewellery I began silversmithing in 1996 and in 2004 had the opportunity to work in foundries and to make sculpture and architectural metal work. Since about 2018 I have been increasingly concentrating upon drawing and design for books, prints and fabric. I have always thought of the all arts as intimately interconnected and interdependant. I self describe as an Applied or Decorative artist. What work I do at any time depends upon the opportunities offered me.

Above are some fabric designs. I am working on the designs for fabric and drawings for the books in parallel. Below are some designs for sand casting in bronze, iron and aluminium. When working in metal too I would often work on different projects at the same time.
