Above is Pineham bridge made about 10 year ago. Unlike the new, 2017, Daventry bridges these parapets were something of an after thought being added after the bridge was completed.

This is a design for an aumbry for St. Davids Cathedral within which the Holy oils are kept. The design is based upon that of the right hand  stone carving in the niche. These stones are amongst the oldest in the Cathedral which unusually is built close to the sea but hidden in a hollow, supposedly to conceal it from Viking raiders, if this was the reason it was unsuccessful being I think twice razed to the ground.
